Remember the slogan, "I like Ike" from Dwight D. Eisenhower our 34th U.S. President? It was one of the best known campaign slogans of all time for one of our most popular presidents of all time. I've always liked th

From Human Resources to Human WE-sources
How often do you quantify and reflect upon your personal
philosophy? My guess is not very
often. Most of us are too busy living
life to think much about why we are living it the way we are. The irony of course

Monitor Your Brand/Products on Twitter
I just got off the phone with one of our clients... she had some "Twitter questions." Specifically, she was wondering about why people "retweet" what other people have already said. We talked a little about the network effect, how each person on Twitter has their "own" network

Stowe Boyd, Blogger and Front Man | July 3, 2008 (episode 42

Stowe Boyd is a well-known blogger for /Message (over 70k followers) and front man for Stowe Boyd and the Messengers (his consulting gig). He's also bullish on social tools ("obsessed" is the word he uses). I've met Stowe several times and recently heard him speak at Enterprise 2.0. Given his ability to ratchet the importance of social media up another level, I knew he would be perfect for an appearance on the "We Show."
During our interview, Stowe talks about companies being able to use social tools to fundamentally "change the way we interact. He also talks about microblogging and the ability for tools like Twitter to serve as early warning systems for companies. Oh yeah, I couldn't help but ask Stowe about some of the latest sniping between fellow "A listers" (think video and puppets). He of course doesn't pull any punches. Listen in to find out more. Nate and Jay are the Click and Clack of social media at Bearingpoint. Offiicially, they have the titles of manager (Nate) and senior business consultant (Jay) in the emerging markets sector at their company but seriously, these guys are a true team. For instance, during our conversation I learned that not only do they physically work together but that they also blog together and present together (most recently at Enterprise 2.0).
In this interview, we focus on the groundbreaking activities that Nate and Jay are engaged in in the world of consulting. Instead locking up their knowledge and IP inside Bearingpoint's walls they are setting it free one bit at a time while helping their clients do the same. More importantly, they've managed to get their management, legal and compliance teams comfortable with these activities. Jedi mind tricks, perhaps? Listen in to find out more. Nate & Jay's Blog
