Last week, I wrote a post about the Microsoft/Yahoo deal and in the end was really excited about the possibility for social search. Well, Google's leading VP in search was interviewed recently and she considers social search "the future of search."
She goes into what it is, how Google might enable social search, what's the future of search, and how Google might work with MySpace, Facebook and others to allow them to re-rank Google results and let them test their own approach to social search (Don't hold your breath for that!).
What's your take?
